How many of us side step invitations to speak publicly or totally freeze if the duty is trusted upon us?  Public speaking for many is a phobia and one that can be overcome.   On the other hand it is a skill that can be acquired and developed over time.  This one-day session would be of particular use to Board and other committee members or any other individuals who from time to time may have to make public speeches or represent their organization in the public domain.  Topics will include:

¨  Conceiving your point and communicating it
¨  Building confidence
¨  Diction, phrasing, enthusiasm
¨  Creating a ‘presence’ – looking the part
