Advanced Credit Union Accounting

A fundamental component of the operation of a credit union is its Board and various committees.  The ‘Report’ is a principal document used by these bodies to give account of their stewardship.  Reports must therefore be informative, comprehensive and compact.  To achieve this mix, the right method must be applied.  This session seeks to highlight the key rudiments of effective report preparation.  Topics will include:

  • The function of reports

  • Strategies for writing effective reports

  • Managing the report content

  • The presentation of the report
